IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Lee
Hale
October 1, 1960 – August 23, 2025
Michael Lee Hale, 64, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

Mike was a former employee who worked for Moala Milk and Ice Cream Co. for many years. He was currently employed by Wayne's Roofing & Gutter LLC until his illness. He was a great worker who knew a lot about electrical, plumbing, remodeling, and taking the lead of being the gutter guy.
He loved mustangs and anything civil war. He could tell countless stories of western movies. He was always one to crack a joke and make you laugh if you were having a bad day.
He lived in Rocky Mount but always called Tarboro home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ingrid Harris and father, Kenneth Hale.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two children, Jason Hale and Lexie Hale (Nathan Casper) His brother, Dean Hale from Greensboro. Special friends, Tina and Steve Proctor who always considered him family and cared for him in his last days. He thought a lot about Kayla Casper (Rob) and their children Noah and Leah. Also, Savanna Proctor and her significant other, Mason Braswell. Several extended family and friends. A lifelong friend, Gerry Welmer. Special thanks to the ICU department at ECU Health Tarboro for their love and compassion. We will miss you Mike and never forget the special friendship we had. Go rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done. Until we meet again…
