Michael Alex Harrell, 57, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Funeral service will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church, Macclesfield NC, officiated by Ralph Dawson Webb. Burial will follow at Macclesfield Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos Kinchin Harrell, Jr. and Janie Varnell Harrell, and daughter, Alexis Lynn Harrell.

He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Michael Harrell and Colby Lewis Harrell, their mother, Keisha Harrell Long, and aunts, Sylvia Ellis and Betty Jo Shepheard and her husband Garland, and his beloved canine companion Boo Boo.

Michael always loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed Nascar and college sports. He bled Carolina Blue and was an avid Tarheel fan. He was a highly skilled welder throughout his life. He loved talking about current events, especially politics.

Michael's pride and joy were his sons. He loved math, guns, and his country. He enjoyed visits from Kenny and Colby's little sister, Carrie.

Michael is now able to live a pain free life, and he will never suffer again. He has left many memories that cannot be erased. He will truly be missed by his family.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church, Macclesfield NC.
