Michael Ray Hathaway, 52,  passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 .

The family will receive friends and other relatives Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro

Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Herring.

He is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Margie Herring and step-father, Kenny Avery; son, Michael Tyler Hathaway; step-son, D.J. Whitfield; Fiancée, Petrice Mitchum; grandchildren, Waylon Davis and Rayne Davis; sister, Kelly Herring Sutton and husband, Keith; brother, Gene Hathaway and his wife, Stacey.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Carlisle Funeral Home, P. O. Box 326, Tarboro, N. C. 27886 to help with funeral expenses.
