Michael Parker Woodruff (November 15, 1951 - August 4, 2021) has passed away at the Fountains at the Albemarle.

A Tarboro resident for most of his life, many know him as owner of C & G Restaurant and Catering. After that, he enjoyed seeing the country as a truck driver.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 14th at 2:00pm at Carlisle Funeral Home, located at 701 Hospital Drive, Tarboro NC, 27886.

He was preceded in death by his father. Calvin Parker Woodruff, and mother Alice (Barnes) Woodruff. He is survived by his daughter Allison Leigh DeSantis, and her husband Robert, and his son, James Parker Woodruff. He was also beloved grandfather of Zackery Mathew Ellis, Nathan Patrick Ellis, and Jacob Parker Levi Bass.  He is also survived by his sister Kay Whitehurst, and her husband George, and brother Jeff Woodruff, and his wife Carol.
