Monteena wore many hats as a wife, mother, "Mimi", daughter, sister, friend to many, and entrepreneur. To know her was to know a life well lived. Monteena is survived by her loving family including her husband William Earl Harrington, Jr; daughter Tiffany Casper and son-in-law David Casper; grandson Dalton Casper; mother Audrey Jones, father Ernest Roberson, step-mother Lillian Roberson, sister Felicia Briggs, brother Stephen Roberson and her beloved "Sassy."
Out of respect for Monteena's wishes, there will not be any funeral services arranged. Monteena wished to have a "Celebration of Life" in memory of her. The family will hold this celebration for Monteena at a later date.
Monteena "fought the good fight" as she has battled with cancer the past four years. The family would like to thank everyone for their many thoughts and prayers over the years. The family would like to especially thank Hospice of Wilson and personally, Brittney Taylor, RN for caring for Monteena and the family. Brittany went above and beyond her duty and displayed the utmost love and compassion over the past few months. Prayers have now been answered, as she is completely healed in her heavenly home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Wilson; 2130 Forrest Hills Rd W, Suite A, Wilson NC, 27893.
