Mrs. Muriel Ann Alford, age 91 of Tarboro, passed away at her home on Friday, May 17, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband Guy Franklin "Frank" Alford, mother and father John and Annie Cherry Hardy, sisters Pat Matkins and Evelyn Hardy, brothers John, Elton, Clarence and Dennis Hardy.

She is survived by her daughter Evelyn Alford Williamson and husband Ray of Rocky Mount, son Guy Franklin Alford Jr. and wife Judy of Tarboro, six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Muriel's Life will be held graveside at Edgecombe Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 11 am. The family will receive friends and family at Guy Alford, Jr.'s home following the service.
