Nancy Watson Moore, 70, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Temperance Hall United Methodist Church with Reverend Mike Edmondson and Reverend Sang Park officiating. Burial will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents, F.C. Watson and Mary Catherine Watson; siblings, Mary Louise Varnell, Walter Watson and Glen Watson.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ricky Moore; sons, J.R. Moore III (Lauren) and J.B. Moore and his wife, Angie; granddaughter, Katie Moore; and siblings, George, Lynn, Charles, David, James Watson, Barbara Ann Gallick, Cathy Watson, Betty Frances Gardner, and Lisa Taylor.

Visitation will be at 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Temperance Hall United Methodist Church. The family will receive family and friends other times at J.B. and Angie Moore's home, 4361 Temperance Hall Road, Elm City, NC 27822.
