Oral Thomas Pittman, 64, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home with his family at his side.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 2:00 pm at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro, burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Oral retired from City of Rocky Mount, September 1, 2020 after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family, especially his grandchildren, going to the beach with family and friends and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Oral was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine J. Pittman, sister, Debbie Mears.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 43 years, Cindy Cobb Pittman; daughter, Amanda Pittman Pace (Kevin), a bonus daughter, Sarah Lewis (Joshua); Son, Thomas Charles Pittman; Father, Thomas Pittman; sister, Teresa Pittman Baker (Jesse); brothers, Stacey Pittman, Jason Pittman and brother in law David Mears (Debbie); granddaughters, Aubrey Pace, Reagan Pace, Abigail Pittman,  Khloe Pittman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
