Peggy Ann Beach Pittman, 90, of Rocky Mount, NC passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024.

She was born October 22, 1933 in Edgecombe County, to the late James and Naomi Beach. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Jack" E. Pittman, parents James and Naomi Beach, three brothers Kermit Beach, James "Junior" Beach, Ollie Beach, one sister Edna Whitley and son-in-law Bobby Williams.

Peggy leaves behind her son, Jimmy Pittman of the home, three daughters: Elaine Gouldin (John) of Wake Forest, Jackie Williams of Rocky Mount and Ellen Clay of Raleigh. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Kimberly Gouldin, Brian Williams (Amy) and Tiffany Timberlake (Bryon), three great-grandchildren, Hudson, Hayes and Hadley Timberlake and many nieces and nephews. She was a long-time member of Proctor's Chapel Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC.

Peggy dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandma, and granny. She loved spending time outdoors working in her yard with her flowers, cooking and spending time with her family. She is greatly loved and will be so dearly missed.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday May 23, 2024 at Carlisle Funeral Home, 701 Hospital Drive, Tarboro NC 27886. Private family memorial service at a later date.
