Peggy Jo Hopewell, 84, passed away Tuesday.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017, 3:00pm at Oak City Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Boseman officiating.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Hopewell.

She is survived by her loving family including daughter, Jenny Brown and husband, Carroll, Tarboro; son, Thomas Jerry Hopewell, Jr. and wife, Debra Diane, Tarboro; grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Wilmeth, Robbie Allan Hopewell and wife, Rachael, Crystal Lynn Pritchett, Timothy Lance Brown, and Jennifer Denise Brown; great grandchildren, Abigal Lynn Pritchett and Ellie Reese Hopewell; sister, Carol Alderman.

The family will be receiving friends and other relatives Friday, December 8, 2017 at Carlisle Funeral Home from 7:00 – 9:00pm.
