Rebecca Davidson Davenport, 54, passed away Thursday, August 31st, 2023 at her home in Rocky Mount.

Born on June 7th, 1969 in Washington DC, "Becka" grew up in Tarboro, NC, graduating from Tarboro High School in 1987 and later from Edgecombe Community College in 2008. Rebecca married her childhood sweetheart Lee Davenport on Valentines Day in 1994 and had three loving sons, Jon, Jacob, and Jamie. She was a loving, caring, devoted wife, mom, and grandma that loved animals and loved her time spent in the outdoors.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Biddle Casper, step father Virgil Ray Casper, and brother Danny Ray Lane.

Rebecca leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 29 1/2 years, Lee Davenport of the home, son Jonathan Davenport, wife Stephanie and grandson Jack of Greenville, son Jacob Davenport and special friend Olivia of Rocky Mount, son Jamie Davenport of the home, sister Robin Lane Armfield and husband John of Raleigh, sister Jo Ellen Lane Ewing and husband Greg of St. Pauls, and brother Shawn Davidson and Life Partner Charles of East Point, Ga., along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16th, 2023 at Carlisle Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00pm.

In leu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rebecca's name to the Humane Society of Eastern North Carolina in Greenville.
