Robert Hawkins 69 passed away peacefully at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital on December 28, 2018 at 0250 am.

He was proceeded in death by his parents John Sr and Beatrice Hawkins. And his two brothers John Jr and Richard Hawkins. Hawk is survived by his loving family which includes his sister Betty Medeiros and husband Charlie, and sister Jeanie Coats and husband Brian. His daughter Lisa Hucks and husband Dennis, daughter Wendy Vinoski and husband Ken, daughter Christie Hawkins, and a son Christopher Hawkins and Katie Driver. His grandchildren Katie Witherington and husband Danny, LeighAnna Hucks, Colby Vinoski, Carly Vinoski, Calub Kite, Myah Cherry, and Kaihler Hawkins. One great granddaughter KayLynn Witherington. Two special friends who stuck with Hawk thru thick and thin Hint Rose and Keith Matthews. The family will receive friends and family at Carlisle Funeral Home on Sunday December 30th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The family ask that in lieu of flowers please donate the monies to Carlisle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
