William Robert Baker, Jr., 50, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Wayne Baker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Robert Baker was a presence as big as life. When he walked into a room he was the center of attention. He was always a giver. Always ready to help anyone and give them anything. The first thing you knew about Robert is he bled Tar Heel blue. He was a crazy devoted fan all his life. He loved his family, especially his 3 daughters more than anything. He was survived by his father and mother William and Carolyn Baker of Macclesfield, NC, his sister Jeanne Baker of Wilson, NC, his children Allison, Emma, Caroline and their mother Kim Baker of Rocky Mount, NC, his niece Kaitlin Cook of Macclesfield, NC, his nephew Kenny Vick of Wilson,NC and his special Aunt Polly Edmundson of Pinetops, NC.
