Robert Douglas Webb, 85 passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018. Douglas was born in Macclesfield North Carolina.

He was the son of Meddie and Carrie Webb. He was preceded by his wife, Eula Webb, of 61 years, his brothers Aldolpheus, Milton, Rudy, and James and his sister Rosalind. Douglas served in the US Army and retired as a painter from the State of Maryland.

He was an avid golfer and in his later years loved karaoke.

He is survived by his son Robert (Bob) D. Webb Jr. (Barb) and his daughter Denise Davis (Ron); grandchildren Nicole Smith, Savannah Roby, Dallas Webb and Lucas Webb and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Crabtree and James Cale officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow on Thursday morning at 10:00am in Macclesfield Cemetery.
