Rosa Lee Adams, 81, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 10 at the First Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Stanley E. Buck, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Rosa Lee worked for Carolina Telephone for 36 years until her retirement in 1993. She was a faithful member of First Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Adams; parents, Llewllyn B. Savage and Mahala Alford Savage; daughter-in-law, Belinda H. Whitaker; and several brothers and sisters.

Rosa Lee is survived by her loving family which includes her sons, Todd Adams and wife Sarah, Joey Whitaker and fiancé Stephanie Brown; grandchildren, Sam Adams, Emma Adams, Brooks Whitaker; sisters, Lorene Hollis and Hazel Taylor.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday at the church from 12:00-1:00pm, and other times at her home, 1504 Westhills Drive, Tarboro.
