Samuel Edward Adcock, 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 with his family by his side.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Reverend Raymond Whitehurst and Reverend Paul Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife Nettie Adcock, of the home; daughter Penny Moots and husband Charles, of Tarboro; son Lynn Adcock and wife Christy, of Tarboro; grandchildren, Charles, Justin, April, Tyler, Joshua; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jillian, Jaxtin, Bryson, Noah, Liam and Abigail; honorary great-grandchildren, Emily, Brandon, and one on the way.

The family will receive friends on Thursday night at Carlisle Funeral Home from 7:00-9:00pm.
