Sandra Lee Medford, 61, died December 18, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, N.C.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Sandra was born in Edgecombe County, March 10, 1959 to Reginald Medford Sr. and Rose Garner Medford. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Dale Medford, nieces, Katie Medford and Shannon Peace. She was very active in rescuing dogs with Sandhill Beagles Rescue, Macclesfield, N.C.

She is survived by her loving family, including her two rescue dogs, Danny and Shep; brother, Reginald Medford, Jr.; sisters, Ann Andrews, Penny Kinnin, Susan Peace; nephews, Chris Andrews, Melvin Andrews, Stephen Peace, Donnie Kinnin, Jr., Brian Kinnin; nieces, Regina Cherry, Angela Peace, Patricia Burnette; 28 great nieces and nephews, 7 great-great nieces and nephews and a very dear friend, Peggy Whitehurst.

Family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Tuesday, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm.
