Sarah Marie Thorp passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2025, in North Carolina. She was born on November 2nd, 1977, in California and was one of four siblings. She spent most of her life in Kodiak, Alaska—the place her kids were born and raised.

Sarah was a kind soul who loved her family deeply. She is survived by her mother Kimberly Scholes, her beloved children Rey, Michaela, and Molly, her sister Christie, and her partner Mitch. She found joy in life's quiet moments: capturing beauty through her camera lens, doting on her cats, and finding comfort in the warmth of those she loved.

Though her time here has passed, Sarah's love continues—woven through memories, carried in the hearts of her family, and alive in every place she touched. Her spirit is not gone, only returned home.
