Sarah Leona Whaley, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on February 2, 2023.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Edgecombe Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Whaley, Jr.; parents, William Lee Page and Leona Garris Page; and many sisters and brothers.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Marion Elizabeth Zimmerman and husband Jimmy Zimmerman their family which includes 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; son, George Lee Whaley and wife Diana Whaley their family 2 children and 5 grandchildren; and daughter, Kimberley Kay Miller and wife Nancy Bedard and their family which includes 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Saturday, February 4th, at Carlisle Funeral Home.
