Scarlet was a loved woman who was very well known in her community. She became a teacher's assistant at her sons' school, Grifton Elementary, after being a parent volunteer for numerous years and she worked there for many many years after her sons completed their education there. She eventually became a teacher's assistant at Lakeforest Elementary in Greenville and worked until she no longer was able to. During her time in education she touched the lives of many! Scarlet loved animals and she enjoyed crafting, catching up with friends in the community during her daily trips to the grocery store, playing Farmville and HayDay, and eventually spending time with her grandchildren who ended up being the light of her life.
