Scotty Ray Ellrod, 62, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 with his family by his side at Vidant Hospice in Greenville, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2019,at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Reverend Phillip Boseman officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon immediately following the memorial service.

He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife Dolly Ellrod, of the home; son Jason Ellrod and wife Kim, of Tarboro; daughter Heather Brice and husband Gerald, of Crisp; step-daughter Emily Rouse and husband Daniel, of Washington; step-daughter Brianna McGraw and husband Matt, of Goldsboro; sister Jackie Coppock, of Tarboro; sister Kathy Ellrod; sister Teresa Dew and husband Bud, of Tarboro; sister Tammy Thompson and husband Hank, of Greensboro; and grandchildren Melanie, Wyatt, Sophie, Makayla, Alexis, Dylan, and Dawson, with Opal on the way.
