Sharon C. Lynch, 66 of Tarboro, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday in Edgecombe Memorial Park with Reverend Tim Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday night from 6:00-8:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joyce Calloway; baby boy Lynch; sister, Janda Latham; brother, Michael Calloway; and nephew, Jason Calloway.
Sharon was married to her loving husband Wayne Lynch for 45 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Nothing made her happier than traveling to see the Amish country and the mountains. Sharon was a nurse for 45 years and took a lot of pride in caring for others. She was a devoted member of Trinity Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir and taught Sunday School for numerous years. Sharon loved her two dogs, Punpkin and Munchkin, and grand-dog Piper.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Lynch; and sons, Greg Lynch and wife Brandi of Winterville; Tyler Lynch and wife Hayleigh of Winterville; sister-in-law, Gloria Lyndaker and husband Casey of Tarboro; brother-in-law, Steve Latham of Tarboro; nieces, Paige Medford, and three children Hayden, Ryder, and Clara of Tarboro; Kaitlin Keel and husband Brandon, and son, Ian of Tarboro; and Monica Latham of Tarboro.
The family wishes to send to a special thank you to Fresenius Kidney Care of Tarboro and Dr. Kendrick for all the care and support they provided.
