Shelby Joyner Rountree, 76, passed away on Friday, May 03, 2019.

Funeral service will be held 3:00pm on Sunday, May 5 at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Herring officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

She is survived by a loving family including her husband of 58 years, Donald Rountree; sons, Rafe Rountree and wife Debra, Rad Rountree and wife Wendy; daughter, Revery Warren and husband Jimmy; brother, Donald Joyner; sister, Bettie Carol Capps and husband Ken., grandchildren Justine Anne Mace and husband Thomas, Lydia Jean Rountree, Cody Allen Rountree and wife Hannah, Brandon Edward Rountree, Corey Rad Rountree, Chelsea B. Taylor and great grandchildren Tre' Swindell, Libby Swindell, Mason Warren, Max Rountree, Lillian Mace, Madison Mace, Paisley Taylor, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday from 2:00-3:00pm at the funeral home.
