Sherry Lynn Skinner, 56 of Macclesfield, NC was called home on May 13th, 2020 surrounded by loved ones.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Barber Skinner and Helen Harrell Skinner of Conetoe, NC.

Sherry is survived by her son, Corey Crawford of Conetoe, NC; sisters, Jean Skinner Nichols of Conetoe, Ruth Skinner Whitehurst of Tarboro; brothers Alton Skinner and Jerry Skinner, both of Tarboro; Grandchildren, Tristian Crawford, Cam Crawford, Aaliyah Crawford, Jaxxen Crawford; her companion of 25 years, Lela Dail of Macclesfield, NC; several cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Sherry was 1981 graduate of Tarboro Edgecombe Academy. She recently celebrated her 25th Anniversary as an employee of the Edgecombe County Solid Waste Department. Sherry was well loved by family, friends and her co-workers. In her free time she enjoyed reading books, doing crossword puzzles and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 virus and safety concerns of the community and the family, a private graveside will be held at Edgecombe Memorial Park with Reverend Johnny Hendricks officiating.
