Shirley Wynn Warren, 69, passed on January 18, 2021 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital with family by her side. Shirley Warren was born on July 29,1951 to James Oliver Wynn and Daisy Bullock Wynn.

Shirley was born and raised in Martin County, she graduated from Oak City High School. She retired from Carolina Enterprise in Tarboro after 40 plus years. She was Married to Bobby Gene Warren of Hobgood. Between them they had 5 children and 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Shirley loved spending time with her family and friends. She attended Sunset Church of God for many years and made reading her bible daily a priority. Shirley often loved having breakfast at Abrams with friends, it was one of her favorite things to do.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, and her sisters Linda Hutchinson and Vicky Jackson.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister Esther, brother Jesse (Buddy), daughter Sharon, step-children Martha, Mona, Wade, Cindy. Grandchildren Jacob, Sarah Jackson. And step- grandchildren Gene, KateLynne, Breanna, Cameron, Matthew, Paige, Lizzy, Susan, Dustin, Johnny Jami and Maddi. Great-grandchildren McKinley, Kaityn, Brynn and Austin.

The family appreciates your love and prayers. Shirley will be deeply missed. She was a great mamma, grandma, sister and friend.

In honor of Shirley the family will have a celebration of life at her home with family and friends on Saturday January 23 at 3 o'clock. (84 Cotton Lane Tarboro, NC 27886)
