Stella Alene Anderson passed away Thursday July 25, 2019 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC.

Mrs. Anderson was born on June 6, 1931 in Little Rock Arkansas To Jesse W. Powell and Alene Alsbrook Powell. She graduated from Little Rock High School in 1950. Her joys and passions in life were spending time with her family and time with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Anderson, daughter Tina L. Osborne, her siblings, Samuel Powell, David Clarence Powell and Mary Margaret Meirose.

She is survived by her son Wm. Forrest Smith (Sherry Allgood Smith) of Tarboro, NC.

Her life will be celebrated at a graveside service on Sunday, July 28th at 5:00 pm at the Conetoe United Methodist Church cemetery in Conetoe, NC. Rev. Ron Elkins will lead the service.The family will receive friends following the service in the church.
