Susan Harrell Head, 76, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Susan had a deep love for horses, finding great joy and peace in their presence. She especially treasured the time she spent hunting with her father, creating memories that remained close to her heart throughout her life. Family was at the center of Susan’s world.

She loved and supported her family in every way and was especially devoted to her nieces and nephews, whom she adored and cherished dearly. She was also a steadfast supporter of the family farm and took great pride in its history and traditions. Susan’s love, loyalty, and generous spirit will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ledger Clark Harrell; mother, Virginia Anderson Harrell; and 2 brothers, Teddy Wright Harrell and Ledger Norris Harrell.

Susan is survived by her 2 brothers, Larry Harrell (Sandra) and Aubrey Harrell (Janice); sister-in-law, Teresa Harrell; niece and nephews, Nicholas Harrell (Leslie); Austin Harrell (Michelle); Rebecca Harrell; Laura Hughes (Jason); John Clayton Harrell (Brenda); Brittany Letchworth (Jason); and Daniel Harrell (Jennifer); and seventeen great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Webbs Chapel Baptist Church, Macclesfield 

A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday., August 19, 2026 at 10 am in the Macclesfield City Cemetery
