Susie Winstead Lewis 88 passed away Friday September 15, 2023. She was born in Edgecombe county to the late Clovis Scott Winstead and Ola Delanie Winstead. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Michael Thomas Lewis her 4 sister and brother.

Susie was a loving wife, exceptional mother and grannie.  She loved her church family and her Abrams family dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years Luther Tomas Lewis, Daughter and son-in-law of Macclesfield Joey and Susan, Her grandchildren Amanda and Tyler Hobgood of Wedell and Jae Li of Macclesfield.

She was fortunate to have many of her extended family cousins and brothers in laws near and could see them often.

A funeral service will be held at the Webbs Chapel Church, Macclesfield , Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 3 Pm. The family will receive friends and family from 2 Pm until 3 Pm at the Church. The interment will follow in the Macclesfield City Cemetery.
