Tammie Marlene (Smith) Crongeyer was born on December 18, 1968. She was the daughter of Sondra Frances (Smith) Casola and Billy Ray Smith, both of whom preceded her in death.  She relocated in 2014 from St. Petersburg, FL to Rocky Mount, NC  where her brother's John home is. She had a brief marriage to James Allen Crongeyer, who she was divorced from.

Tammie had two surviving siblings, Debra Marie Harris of Tallahassee, FL and John Clay Harris of Rocky Mount, NC and Daniel Scott Harris who preceded her in death in Tallahassee, FL.

For the past 7 years she has lived in Enfield, NC in a longstanding and loving relationship with Charles Steven Andrews. Tammie was called suddenly and peacefully to the afterlife on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.  She was  a well loved friend and will be missed by so many,  the lives she touched with her undeniable loyalty and compassion.  She showed total love and dedication to so many people's lives she touched.

We will not forget you, our precious and darling, Tammie, your memory and spirit will be with us forever!!!

Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Saint Michael's Episcopal Church Cemetary.
