Tammy Eubanks Burns, 55, passed away Tuesday, January 15th with her family by her side.

A long-time insurance agent, Tammy resided in Tarboro, NC with her husband Robert Burns IV. Tammy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons, and traveling with her beloved husband. You would often find Tammy enjoying football or basketball, especially when The University of North Carolina was playing, an affinity she developed later in life.

Those who loved her dearly will not forget Tammy's lively smile. Among those are her husband, Robert Burns, four children: Danielle Bannister and husband Dustin of Goldsboro, Lexy Johnson of Kinston, Elizabeth Burns and partner Sam Lewis of Tarboro, and Robert Burns V of Tarboro; two grandchildren: Joseph Lewis of Tarboro and Declan Bannister of Goldsboro; her mother, Ann Eubanks of Kinston, and brother Jeff Eubanks of Deep Run. Tammy is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Eubanks.

A service of remembrance, officiated by the Rev. Benjamin Kane will be held on Saturday, January 19th at Howard Memorial Presbyterian church at 11:00 am, with a graveside to follow.

The family invites loved ones to honor Tammy's memory through memorials made in her honor to the American Liver Foundation.
