Obituary
Thomas David Furlough ("Tommy"), 84, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Oak City Cemetery, Oak City, NC, with Rev. J. Julian Griffin officiating.
He was preceded in death by his by parents, Joseph Edward and Iva Dean Furlough; brother, Edward Earl Furlough; sisters, Sarah Francis Purvis and Ollie Louise Swain; and daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Furlough.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Willie Carol Furlough; daughter, Carol Furlough Ruffin (Ken); granddaughters, Callie Ruffin Jones (Alex) and Molly Morgan Ruffin; one great granddaughter; and siblings, Lenard Rae Furlough (Evelyn), Pollie Furlough Griffin (Julian), and Linda Furlough Edmondson, (Sammy).
