It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Daddy, Pa, son and brother Barley "Thomas" Bridgers, Jr. Thomas was born April 22, 1954 to Barley Thomas Bridgers and Daisy Hulon Bridgers.

Funeral services for Thomas will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Reverend Johnny Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Macclesfield Cemetery.

Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Diane Bridgers, father Barley Bridgers, son Ray Thompson, sister Peggy Bridgers, brothers Jodie, Willie, Randy Bridgers.

Thomas is survived by his mother Daisy Bridgers, son Mike Bridgers (Stacey), daughter Kim Barnett (Joe), grandkids Matthew, Amy, Tommy, Catherine, Christopher and Allison Bridgers, Michael Webb, Mary Jo, Nicole, Christy and RJ Barnett, sister Becky Bridgers Luper, brothers Danny and Toby (Debbie) Bridgers, brother-in-law Beamon Corbett (Debbie), 7 great-grandkids; and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas is also survived by 2 step-sons and 7 step-grandkids.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday night from 6:00-8:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home and other times at the home of Daisy Bridgers; however please call 252-291-3933 prior to coming due to Mrs. Daisy's health condition.
