Tracey Bunting Purvis, 60, (Formerly of Tarboro) passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 following a 10-year battle with cancer. She passed away at First Health Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband David Purvis and her daughter Ashley Rivers (Matt) and grandchildren Hailey, Trevor, Logan & Grace.

She is also survived by her father C.B. Bunting Jr (Sue); siblings: Janero Stokes (Ed), C.B. "Bud" Bunting III (Kaye), John Bunting (Mary), Marie Mcfayden (Robert), brothers-in-law: Melvin Purvis (Judy), Larry Purvis (Betty), Jerry Purvis (the late Beverly), Uncle Douglas "Duck" Bunting (Jean) and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Tracey was a wonderful wife, mother, and MiMi who truly enjoyed her family, friends, and her horses.

The family would also like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff at First Health Hospice House. You all are truly angels on earth.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the First Health Hospice House, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.

Services will be held at a later date.
