Vickie Lynn Briley, age 58 of Tarboro, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

Vickie was born in Edgecombe County on November 4, 1962 to Columbus and Ella Taylor Newton.

She is survived by her husband David Lee Briley of the home, her children Tonya Owens (Jamie), Bobby Allen Jr, Victoria Allen and Christopher Allen (Morgan) all of Tarboro, grandchildren Destiny Smith, Tiffany Smith, Emery Smith, Bradley Smith and Christopher (CJ) Allen, Jr, Henry Allen, McKynlie Owens and Peyton Owens, sisters Deborah (Debbie) Holloman, Angela (Darlene) Butler (Dan) both of Tarboro, and lots of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Vickie's Life will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Mausoleum at Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Rev. Sammy Woods officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour before the service at the cemetery.
