Virgil Ray Casper, Jr.,68, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 with his family at his side.

The family will receive friends and other relatives Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Carlisle Funeral Home from 12:30 – 2:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later time.

Ray retired from KABA ILCO CORP. of Rocky Mount, after many years of service.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Rebecca Biddle Casper; parents, Virgil Ray & Dorothy Crisp Casper; brother, Keith Casper; grandmother, Olivia Crisp.

He is survived by his loving family, including his daughters, Rebecca Davenport (Lee), Robin Lane Armfield (John) , Jo Ellen Lane Ewing (Greg); Son, Shawn Davidson; Sister, Lisa Rogerson (Allen); Brother, Mike Casper (Susan) and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Edgecombe County Rescue Squad, 501 Office St., Tarboro, N.C. 27886.
