Virginia Carpenter Minton, 79, passed away Sunday, November, 5, 2017 at her home in Norlina, N.C.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Carlisle Funeral Home at 12 noon with Rev. Ron McCracken officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Virginia was born in Edgecombe County to John Robert and Elsie Taylor Carpenter.
She is survived by her adopted daughter, Pat Gaul of Warrenton; Son, John Minton, Willow Springs; Grandson, Ryan Minton, Norlina; Sister, Patricia Ruffin and her husband, Mack T. Ruffin, Richmond, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends and other relatives Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 10:00 – 12 noon at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro, N.C.
