Mrs. Virginia Louise Owens, age 31, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center.

She was born in Edgecombe County on July 8, 1990 to John Owens and Valerie Webb. She was an outspoken person, loved attending church, singing, and helping anyone she could.

Virginia is preceded in death by her late grandmother Bonnie Harrison and her grandparents Raymond and Frances Taylor.

She is survived by her mother, Valerie Webb and boyfriend Trey Wooten of Pinetops, her father John Owens and wife Tammy of Rocky Mount, eleven brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family at Carlisle Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 2 Pm until 3 Pm. A Celebration of Virginia's Life will be held at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral home with Pastor Randy Smith officiating.
