Walter Wayne Bland April 16, 1942 - May 16, 2020 Walter Wayne "Buck" Bland, 78 of Williamston passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 in the Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC

"Buck" is survived by his son, David and wife Carol of Bailey; granddaughter Magan Bland; grandsons, Wayne Bland and girlfriend Aimee of Temperance Hall; great grandchildren Nicholas, Maddie, Cheyenne, Alivia; Hunter Bland and wife Harley of Nashville; great grandchildren Hallie, Hunter Jr.; sisters, Gladys Edwards of Bethel; Jane Roberson of Alabama; Vera Silverthorne of Williamston.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in Bethel Town Cemetery, Bethel with the Rev. Walter Summerlin officiating. In addition to his parents John and Effie Bland; he was preceded in death by his brother George Bland and sister Mary Sue Gooch.
