Walter H. Keel went to be with his Lord and savior on the evening of Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 surround by his loved ones.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2:00pm in Edgecombe Memorial Park with Rev. Henry Long and Rev. Roy Faison officiating. The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home from 1:00-1:45pm on Saturday.

He was a beloved husband, brother, and uncle. Walter retired from a career in manufacturing and was a deacon at Speed Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and his family.

Walter is proceeded in death by his parents William and Magnolia Keel, his brothers James and Preston Keel, his sister Betsy Williams, and two step children.

He is survived by his wife Ann Keel of Tarboro, his sister Lucy Hardee of Rocky Mount, his three brothers Bennie Keel (Jean) of Tarboro, Paul Keel (Ruth) of Tarboro, and Joe Keel (Della) of Nashville, his four step children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
