Norman Wayne Clark, 84, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kellie Roberson Clark and Rufus Frank Clark; sister, Evelyn Clark Stokes; brothers, Haul Clark and Bill Clark.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Edmondson Clark; his son Dwayne Clark; sister, Marlene Clark Goodall ; and several nieces and nephews.

At a young age, he attended Gum Swamp Freewill Baptist Church for many years, where he learned to love and serve the Lord.

Wayne grew up and attended school in the Belvoir area. Later in life, after moving to Tarboro, he established Dry Cleaning by Wayne and retired as the former owner.

While we will miss him greatly, we are comforted by knowing he rejoices now with his Lord and Savior and that he is at peace. Many thanks to all who prayed with us and for the excellent and compassionate care he received at Pruitt Health Care in Farmville, NC.

A private graveside service will be held at Edgecombe Memorial Park on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 4:00 PM.
