IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Ronald
Boyette
July 12, 1949 – March 5, 2025
William Ronald Boyette, 75, passed away on March 5, 2025.
Visitation will be on 10:00 – 11:00am on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Carlisle Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 11:00am. Officiated by Rev. Johnny Hendricks and Rev. Billy Crabtree. The burial will be private for family only.
William Ronald Boyette was born on July 12, 1949, to James Arthur and Madlin Jones Boyette in Edgecombe County, in the middle of tobacco season. He happily lived and farmed for his entire life in Fountain Crossroads.
Ronald grew up with a large extended family, which included his brother, Dalton; sister, Lorraine; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
As a boy, Ronald was shy and loved playing with toy cars. In high school, he was a student bus driver, who saved up and bought his dream car, a black Ford Mustang. As an adult, he loved to talk and visit with family and friends, and even strangers in stores and restaurants.
Ronald met the love of his life, Lynn Webb, during wedding festivities of mutual friends. They later married and were blessed with a look-alike for each of them, Kimberly and Kevin. Ronald and Lynn instilled a strong Christian faith and work ethic in their children, and he was always very proud of their accomplishments.
Ronald loved to laugh and play jokes, especially when his children's friends were visiting. He had a great love for his family, truly welcoming Buck and Selena when they married into it. His love and joy was expanded by becoming Grandaddy to Bryce, Georgia and Jay Carter. One of his favorite things to do with them was ride around the farm on his 4x4.
Ronald did not have a lot of patience, and his family has many funny stories as a result of some of his impatient acts. He was a kind and generous man who often helped friends, family and neighbors. He will be greatly missed.
The family will also be receiving friends at Kim and Buck Bradley's home, 1087 Dail Loop Road, Tarboro, NC 27886.
