Obituary
Tarboro
William "Alton" Brown, 83, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital.
Graveside service will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm, Edgecombe Memorial Park, Tarboro, N. C.
Alton enjoyed his church and was a member of Tarboro Church of Christ for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Morgan Brown; son, James Linwood Brown; step-daughter, Sandra Pridgen and her husband, Charles; step grandchildren, Morgan and Matthew Pridgen; sister, Blanche; sister-in-law, Barbara Proctor and her friend, Ivan Mitchell and several nieces and nephews; and his special fur babies Molly and Baby.
The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00–2:00 pm.
