William Alvin "Al" Dawson, Jr., age 63, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2021.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Dot Dawson, and father, Alvin "Sweetie" Dawson.  Al is survived by his sister Sharon Dawson Buchanan of Cornelius, NC and nephews Jacob and Ben Buchanan.

Al attended East Carolina University and previously enjoyed working as an insurance adjuster for Aetna, USAA and Nationwide.
