William "David" Weeks age 67 of Tarboro passed away on Thursday December 14, 2023. He was proceeded in death by his father Clifton Joseph Weeks, Jr. of Tarboro and mother Eleanor Flye Weeks Stallings of Nash County.

He is survived by his fiancé Debra Holland of Tarboro, brother Clifton Weeks III (Lee) of Nash County nephew Jason (Christy) and two nieces Mary Katherine and Baker of Winterville. His loving Aunt Kay Gurganus of Rocky Mount. Although David didn't have children of his own his had a special place in his heart for Debra's children and grandchildren.

David graduated from the Wilson Community College BLET program and served on the Tarboro Police department for 10 years followed by 20 years with the Edgecombe County Sheriffs Department. Many know him from owning and operating the car washes in Tarboro, Pinetops and Scotland Neck. David spent most of his free time researching and writing articles for the " Official Down Memorial Page" for fallen LEO's.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Carlisle Funeral Home from 7:00 -9:00 P.M. with the funeral services Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Free Will Baptist Church.
