Willie Earl Bridgers, 61, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 with his loving family by his side.

A Celebration of Life for Willie will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, February 8, at New Beginning Free Will Baptist Church, 5607 Gardners School Rd., Elm City with the Rev. Johnny Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Barley Thomas Bridgers, Sr.; a son, Daniel Jobe Bridgers; brother, Randy Bridgers; sister, Peggy Jean Bridgers.

Willie is survived by his wife of 24 years, Gladine "Itsy" Applen Bridgers; daughter, Amy Lee Reynolds and husband Brooks, of High Point; step-son, Randy Peasley and wife Jessica, of Daytona Beach, FL; mother, Daisy Bridgers, of Fountain; sister, Becky Lynn Luper, of Fountain; brothers, Thomas Bridgers and wife Diane, of Fountain, Jodie Bridgers and wife Robyn, of Macclesfield, Toby Bridgers and wife Debbie, of Elm City, Daniel Bridgers, of Tarboro; grandchildren, Sadie Reynolds and Payton Riley Peasley; brother-in-law, Robbin Lee Applen; and a good friend, Mike Riker.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the home of Itsy Bridgers, 1318 Fountain Rd., Macclesfield, NC and also at the home of Daisy Bridgers, 7522 Glover Rd., Fountain, NC.
