Willie J. "Pete" Braswell, 86, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

He is survived by his sisters, Lois Bullock, Margie Braswell, and Nancy Carr and husband Jimmy; brother, Phil Braswell and wife Catherine; as well as many nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Pete was a disabled veteran who served his country proudly. After his injury he returned home to Macclesfield where he started Braswell's Auto Sales and Services.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Ola Doane and Sarah Braswell; sister, Geraldine Braswell Grady; brothers, Tom and Shelby Braswell.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Pineview Cemetery, Pinetops, NC with Rev. Carroll Bradbury officiating the service.
