Andy A. Baker, 56, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 surrounded by his family.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro on Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. The memorial service will immediately follow with the Rev. Julian Thompson, Jr. officiating.

He is survived by his loving family which includes his daughter, Logan Elizabeth Ann Baker; son, Jordan Andy Baker and wife Macy Pierce Baker; grandson, Gavin Avery Baker; parents, Alvis and Mary Ann Baker; brother, Jimmy Baker and wife Kathy Baker; his former wife Terri C. Baker; and his companion Diana Etheridge.

Andy was born in Tarboro on September 4th, 1962. He graduated from Edgecombe Community College and obtained his electrical license in 1995. He was the owner of Maccripine Electric Service for over 17 years where he valued his work and community. He was an exceptional father, son, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, traveling to the lake, and spending time with the ones he loved. He was always such a joy to be around, and would do anything for anyone. His selfless and loving personality is what most people will remember him by.

In lieu of flowers, Andy requested that donations be given to His Vision Ministry at address, 3393 NC Hwy 111 S. Pinetops, NC 27864 for the building of their new church.
