Curtis Edward Wadsworth

Curtis Edward Wadsworth, age 57 of Battleboro passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Kitty Askin Hospice Center of Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Reverend Billy Crabtree officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 1:00-unitl service time. 

He was born on January 1, 1964 in Nash County to the late Edward and Maxine Manning Wadsworth. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, AB Manning and Betty Ellen Yount, Lewis and Ida Turner Wadsworth.

Curtis is survived by his sister, Tammy Little of the home; Judy Wadsworth of the home; brother, Robert Wadsworth of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews and long-time friend Alice Webb.

Curtis was a hardworking carpenter for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and loved being around his family and friends. He left a legacy behind for everyone to remember him. He will be missed.
