Obituary
Dennis Ray Carlisle, 69, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Carlisle Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hendricks officiating the service. Burial will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Dennis was a member of Penders Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for 15 years.
Dennis worked at Mayo’s Mill for 15 years. He enjoyed going fishing, he especially loved bass fishing. Dennis never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert S. Carlisle and sister, Evelyn Taylor.
Dennis is survived by his mother, Delores Carlisle and brother, Bob Carlisle.
Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Carlisle Funeral Home.
