Dorothy W. Denton, 78 passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11:00 am, Edgecombe Memorial Park with Pastor Michael Bryan officiating.

Dorothy was born in Nash County to Mason and Lessie Coley West, February 23, 1943.

She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 53 years, Larry Denton; sons, Chris Denton and his wife, Betty, Roy Blackmon, David Blackmon; daughter, Brenda Wheeler; grandchildren, Ryan Denton, Kristin Denton, Tommy Lee Blackmon, David Blackmon, Little Richard Wheeler, Amanda Colbert, Jacob Denton; Brothers, Oliver West and Richard West.
